Activities

At NCANB, we believe that culture comes alive through shared experiences. Our activities are designed to bring people together, celebrate Nepali heritage, and create lasting memories across generations.

Cultural Celebrations

We host major Nepali festivals such as Dashain, Tihar, Teej, and Holi, complete with traditional music, dance, food, and rituals. These events are open to all and serve as joyful reminders of our roots.

Youth Programs

Our youth are the future of our community. We offer free dance classes, language lessons, and leadership workshops to help children and teens build confidence, express themselves, and stay connected to their culture.

Community Engagement

From potlucks to picnics, we organize regular gatherings that foster friendship and support among members. We also collaborate with other cultural groups to promote diversity and inclusion across New Brunswick.

Training & Education

We provide opportunities for skill-building through public speaking sessions, volunteer training, and cultural awareness programs — helping members grow personally and professionally.

Sports & Recreation

We encourage healthy living and team spirit through sports tournaments, outdoor adventures, and family-friendly games that bring joy and unity to our community.

Cricket with NCCF

Cricket isn’t just a sport — it’s a passion that brings people together. Through our partnership with NCCF, the Nepali Cultural Association of New Brunswick (NCANB) under the leadership of Mr Jwala Thapa Magar (President) proudly supports a vibrant and competitive cricket team that represents our community with pride and energy.

Our team is made up of talented players from diverse backgrounds who share a love for the game and a commitment to teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Whether it’s weekend matches, local tournaments, or friendly practice sessions, our players bring their best to the field — and inspire others to join in.

Cricket is also a way for our youth to stay active, build confidence, and connect with their peers. We welcome new players, volunteers, and fans to be part of this growing movement.

Whether you’re a player, a fan, or simply curious, we invite you to be part of this exciting journey. Visit nccfnb.ca to learn more, follow match updates, or get involved.
