The Nepali Cultural Association of New Brunswick (NCANB) is a non-profit organization founded on December 20, 2014, by a group of passionate individuals in Fredericton who shared a vision: to preserve and celebrate Nepali culture in their new home.
Over the years, NCANB has grown into a vibrant and welcoming community of more than 300 members across New Brunswick. We are united by our heritage and driven by a shared commitment to keep our traditions alive while embracing the diversity of our surroundings.
Our mission is to create meaningful connections — not only among Nepali-origin individuals, but also with local residents and other cultural groups. Through festivals, workshops, youth programs, and community events, we celebrate the richness of Nepali culture and foster a spirit of unity, respect, and cooperation.
In 2025, we welcomed a newly elected, dynamic executive team in the leadership of Executive President Mr Rewati Rijal — a group of energetic leaders dedicated to expanding our programs, empowering our youth, and strengthening our community ties. With their guidance, NCANB continues to grow as a platform for cultural expression, leadership development, and lifelong friendship.
Whether you’re a long-time resident or newly arrived, NCANB invites you to be part of our journey — to celebrate, connect, and thrive together.
